1. All Saints Petrel Brodie Jeans. Its 'Summer' now (even though it is raining so bad in Manchester!) so I won't be buying these yet. But how gorgeous are these jeans? I only have one pair of jeans cos I'm a bit of a American Apparel Leggings and Disco Pants girl, but I shall definitely be purchasing these when it comes closer to Autumn/Winter. Bit expensive at £85 but i'll get good wear out of them.

2. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I'm currently on a look out for a good cleanser to replace my Body Shop Vitamin E one as I just feel like it doesn't really work on my skin anymore. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish seems like the one to get, as I have read lots of reviews and this seems like one of the best ones on the market. I think i'll purchase the starter kit that costs £14.25, which is a little pricey for what I'd usually spend on a cleanser but I'm willing to spend a little extra on something that works (hopefully!).

3. Cheap Frills Prince Puss Necklace, £18. How could I not like this necklace? This is definitely being purchased to fulfill my love of cats!

Festival Fashion

Hi guys, hope you're good!
So I thought to do a post on what I would wear to a festival.
I went to Parklife in Manchester two weeks ago (which was amazing) and this post is my actual outfits I wore.
I'd also like to apologise on how badly edited they are!
I took photos outside (bad choice) as it looked sunny but then the sun kept going in and out whilst taking these so they ended up either very bright or washed out.

(Oh and on these photos I'm not wearing the wellies I wore cos they are still muddy but they were just plain black ones!)

(My Cat decided she wanted to be part of these photos and btw she always looks pissed off!)

 Day 1:

Dress: ASOS
Denim Shirt: Topshop (old)
Bag: Nasty Gal
Bracelet: eBay
Nails: Celestial

Day 2:

Kimono: ASOS
Dress: American Apparel
Necklace: eBay
Sunglasses: RayBan Wayfarers
Lips: Topshop's Beguiled

What was in my bag? (Festival Essentials)
Hand Sanitizer
Pac-a-Parka (pictured below)
Money for cider
Mac Sheer Select Powder
Chanel Chance Perfume Tester

So there is my take on what to wear to festivals, it may be not your choice but its my personal style :)
I wore tights on the first day as it was cold with my wellies, but it was important to have layers I could take off and put in my bag as some girls I saw looked freezing!

This is the Pac-A-Parka I wore:

(Couldn't get a good photo due to it being covered in mud, woops!)

A photo of me and my friends on the first day :)

What are your favorite festival fashion must haves? Are you going to any festivals this Summer?

Love Lettuce

Firstly I'm going to start out and say I am pretty much a Lush 'virgin'. I never really go in Lush as I find the smell of the bath bombs over powering and only ever go into buy my friends presents in there.
However, the other day I finally manned up and faced the strong aromas and treat myself.

The reason why I have wanted to try Lush so badly is that they are completely against testing on Animals and even having their own campaign against it.
They also create handmade skin care with natural ingredients, and as my skin is quite sensitive anything with chemicals in, is a plus.

On to the product: I wanted to get myself a face mask as I've noticed my skin has been oily in some places and dry. I usually have normal skin so I wanted to sort it out.
A sales advisor asked me about my skin and its problems and recommend to me the 'Love Lettuce' mask, as its main feature is to 'balance' out the skin which seemed perfect for me.
Initially I was a little put off by the idea of lavender oil in the product as I really don't like the smell of lavender.
The great thing about this product is the almond shells, they act as a exfoliator to get rid of any dead skin and blackheads.
I washed of this product with a face cloth and it came of easily and still exfoliating my face whilst wiping it off.
My skin afterwards was very soft and a few days on from using this product I have noticed that my face has started going back to normal and is less oily.
I will definitely keep on using this face mask once a week as part of my skin care routine.
I found it really hard to pin point any problems with the product, the only downside is the slight lavender smell, which wasn't strong at all!
I'm excited to try more Lush products and will be going in there more often!

What do you think of Lush products? Which is your favorite product from there?

1. Silence + Noise Geo Shirt Dress from Urban Outfitters. I tried on this dress at the new Urban Outfitters at my local shopping centre called Meadowhall in Sheffield. I really liked it but my boyfriend thought I looked like a grandma! However, I didn't buy it due to it costing £65.00 but I really like it and could be worn in Autumn/Winter aswell.

2. Scoop Back Tank Dress in Neon Heather Pink from American Apparel, £36.00. I love this dress because of the colour and backless detail. I'll definitely have to buy a low back bra though!

3. Floral Border Shirt from Topshop, £38.00. Not sure why I didn't buy this today, it looks much nicer on and would make a casual outfit a little less boring or dressed up with a skirt for a night out.

4. Easy Jean in Light Wash Indigo from American Apparel, £64.00. Yet another American Apparel number that I'm wanting as per usual! I'm inbetween sizes at the minute and hoping to lose a little bit of 'boredom' weight I've put on before I buy these.

A very expensive wish list from me this week!
Hope you're all having a great day, I'm currently watching English vs Sweden, come on England! haha.

Beauty Haul

So! I'd firstly like to apologise for the lack of posts I have done lately!
I love blogging but I have literally been here there and everywhere and not had enough time.
I've been in Manchester for Parklife Festival this past weekend, and it was amazing. Let me know if you went and who you loved seeing most!

Right on to the actual purpose of this post, my recent beauty haul!
I've been trying slowly trying to revamp my main make up collection with a few unnecessary treats on the way, as I'm starting to run out of essentials.

I've also started using high street/drugstore brands due to having lack of money and being in between skin tones for summer!

I recently went to Topshop after borrowing a shade called 'Beguiled' and falling in love with it. Its also my first Topshop Lipstick purchase and I'm quite impressed!
This lipstick cost £8.00 and stays on well aswell as being very pigmented.
Beguiled reminds me of one of my favorite MAC shades called 'Rebel' which is a purple/pink and I've been looking for a more purple/plum lipstick and this one is perfect!

I got as part of a late birthday present Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara which has a brush for length and a brush for volume. I really like the lengthening brush of this mascara, my lashes look very long after using it. However, I'm not sure on the volume brush. I think it may not suit me as it just puts too much product on my lashes. But if you are looking for a very good lengthening brush I recommend this product! The mascara costs £7.99 at Boots.

I recently picked up the Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara in waterproof (mainly as thats all they had left!) and I really like it as a daytime mascara it lengthens and volumnises but not in a 'woah' kind of way if you know what I mean! This mascara also costs £7.99 at Boots.

At the moment I am slightly tanned thanks to that one week of sun in Britain! Very gutted about how rainy it is lately! But as I'm in between shades I do not want to pay a lot of money to get MAC Studio Sculpt in a shade that I may not be in a month.
I haven't tried this Rimmel Foundation yet so I picked it up for £6.99 which is definitely worth the money. This foundation is perfect for Summer, its light, dewy and blends very well. It is apparently has an anti-fatiguing effect which I believe is true. It does have a slight shimmer, but don't let that put you off as it was not noticeable especially after applying a light powder. My shade is 'Soft Beige'.

I also picked up Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Ivory for £4.19, and as you can see the writing on the packaging has worn off! But this full coverage concealer is amazing, I use it under my eyes and for any blemishes and find it better than my Dior concealer.

Make Up Brushes:

Okay, I caved in and bought these off my wish listReal Techniques Core Collection costs £21.99 but it is so worth it. You get a contour brush, foundation brush, detailer brush and buffing brush but I would buy this set just for the buffing brush. I am obsessed with this brush, it makes my foundation look flawless. I haven't used the foundation brush, but the detailer brush is great for applying lipstick and the contour brush is perfect.

I also picked up an EcoTools Kabuki brush which I use to apply powder with and its so soft! I bought this for £9.99 at Boots.

My Boyfriend went on a cheeky splurge at American Apparel and I made him buy me this at the checkout (sorry Warren!) and I love it. Its such a nice rainbow glitter and really good quality. 'Supernova' is £9.00 online but was £7.00 in the Manchester AA store.

I also purchased 'Celestial' which is a gorgeous blue from Topshop costing £5.00.

I'm currently to make my ombre hair less brassy and dry so I picked up two products hoping to help it.

I bought Pro-Voke Touch of Silver twice a week brightening shampoo for £2.99 and its really helping my hair to be more ash blonde and less trashy brassy! Also at that price how could you say no if you've got blonde hair!

I also picked up a 'cheap' version of Morrocan Oil called Argan Oil from Lee Stafford and so far I have noticed less split ends and softer hair. It also smells really nice! It costs £11.99 from Boots.

I also picked up Batiste Dry Shampoo as my hair when straight looks so much nicer after not washing it for two days! I didn't know it was the xxl volume one but I haven't really noticed a difference from any of the other types! It costs £3.99 from Boots.

Benefit Freebie!:

So finally I'm nearly finished but I picked up Glamour for £2 (which I actually read every month) and got the the porefessional primer and so far I like it more than my MAC Prep and Prime! Its light and silky and really helps set my foundation evenly.

If you've actually read all of this I applaud you! I was going to space it out, but I have so many other things to blog about I thought I'd put it in one post!

Back soon with more style posts rather than beauty.

Let me know what you think of these products if you've used them :)

1. Topshop Pixelated Waist Maxi Dress. When I saw this dress I immediately fell in love with it. I can imagine it to look amazing with nude peep toe heels, a few flashes of gold jewellery and a simple clutch for a night out with the girls or even for a summer wedding. Unfortunately, I cannot justify spending £59.00 for this dress or £53.10 with student discount, as I haven't got a job over summer yet. Absolutely gorgeous though, really want it!

2. H&M Ballet Pumps in Brown. I am definitely going to pick up these when I next go shopping. At £14.99 they are perfect summer flats to go with pretty dresses or leggings. They are also similar to the Topshop ones everyone is wearing lately but as the Topshop flats are around £35, I think I'll settle for these H&M beauties.

3. Real Techniques Core Collection. To be honest I only really want this set for the buffing brush and the contour brush I have read so many reviews about. I really want the buffing brush, seeming as its summer now and I really want to wear as little foundation as possible and this brush sounds like it smooths foundation out evenly and doesn't build up. The downside is that the set cost £21.99 and I won't use the foundation brush and concealer brush that comes with the set.

4. Zara Zipped Messenger Bag. Every time I go into Zara, I look at this bag and don't buy it. I have no idea why as I am desperate for a good black day/night bag to retire my (slightly tattered) Vivienne Westwood bag. This bag is £25.99, which is a good price for a bag that will get a lot of use. I was also surprised at how much space this bag has and how it can be turned into a clutch for the evening.

What do you think of these pieces?
Whats on your wish list at the moment?

To my UK readers Happy Jubilee!
